Tinuy- an Falls near Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, Philippines

After we explored the beauty of Britania's Group of Islands, we went to Bislig City, Surigao del Sur and stayed at the White Palace Inn in Bislig City. We choose this motel because it is located on the way to our last tourist destination, the Tinuy-an Falls. The rooms in White Palace Inn are very clean and affordable but I learned from one of their staffs that they don't cook the food that they offered. They just ordered the foods from a restaurant nearby making your food order to take so long to serve.

This is the entrance of Tinuy-an Falls.

The signage of the different fees and charges in Tinuy-an Falls.

This is the first layer of Tinuy-an Falls. Tinuy-an Falls has three layers of water falls but we only experienced the 1st and the second layers. The third layer was closed during our visit because the stairs going up to the 3rd layer were slippery.

This is the second layer of Tinuy-an Falls.  This is where you can do Gaket (raft rowing) and you will be aided by some volunteers. I think tipping is necessary to volunteers who aided you on raft rowing because they  do not receive any remuneration from the park management. The charge for 30 minutes of raft rowing is Php150.00 (US$3.25).

A cottage that you can rent inside the park.

A wooden sculpture inside the park.

The park has a lush vegetation. The park is very clean except for the smelly old comfort room inside  the park.

My last glimspe of Tinuy-an Falls.

I hope to see you soon Tinuy-an Falls!
