When I purchased this watch, I had some apprehensions. I was afraid that my technician would not understand the movement of a Seiko because he is mainly focused on servicing Swiss watches. I was wrong, my technician is also well-adept with Seiko.
This is a Vintage Seiko Weekdater Automatic 6218-8970 in Gold Plaque Case Watch. The dial is still in good condition and there is no brassing on the gold plaque case.We fitted the watch with an after market black Italian leather band. The movement was serviced and was keeping time before we sent the watch to the buyer.
